BloomStem™ basal medium uses two classic formulas, Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM) and Roswell Park Memorial Institute (RPMI) 1640, to provide essential nutrients such as vitamins, hormones, growth factors, etc., for cell proliferation and survival and to maintain physical and chemical conditions such as osmotic pressure and pH value within the range suitable for cell growth.
BloomStem™ DMEM medium is suitable for culturing primary fibroblasts, neurons, glial cells, HUVEC, smooth muscle cells, and cell lines such as HeLa, 293, Cos-7, and PC-12. BloomStem™ RPMI medium 1640 can be used to culture HeLa cells, Jurkat cells, MCF-7 cells, PC12 cells, PBMC cells, astrocytes, and cancer cells. It is stable between batches and highly safe, and customized services can be provided to meet the stable and efficient culture of various types of cells.
